After you try to Repair connections
using the repair wizard, Network Magic displays a set of instructions that
is customized to the connectivity problem detected.
Here is an example from the repair wizard:
Make
sure your networking cables are connected.
For each cable connecting your networking equipment ...
After you follow the steps and try to fix the problem, use the wizard
to test the repair. If the repair is successful, you can continue networking
normally. If there is still a problem, you can go to the next instructions
link and try to fix the problem.
In the Summary
page of the repair wizard, click the first link.
Network Magic opens this Help file and displays the repair steps.
Complete the steps.
Return to the Summary
page of the repair wizard, and click Test
Again.
Wait briefly. Network Magic analyzes your network connections.
On the Summary
page, check the results.
If the problem was repaired, Network Magic displays a check mark and
a message that the repair was successful.
If there is still a problem, Network Magic displays a message that the
repair was not successful. On the Summary
page, you should click the next instructions link, and then repeat steps
2 through 4 of this procedure. Continue to do so until you fix the problem
or have completed all the custom instructions.
